Jimmy Mustafa Band story

Today we are at Jimmy’s place, Here is his story:

Xhemalj Jimmy Mustafa born in 1989 from Plemetina, plays the guitar and sings vocals; he also plays other musical instruments such as piano, drums and clarinet. Jimmy writes texts and composes music for the band;

The band has two studio albums, first one called “Posvetime” (Dedicated) with 10 tracks and the second album “Romane Bajrakja” (Roma Flags) with 11 tracks with their original songs. he also produced music for nine documentary films about Roma such as: Jek kham jek sel, Naci Palem khere, Sar Thuv, Live, Auschvic in Poland,Roki . (for which Jimmy was awarded in 2013 in Skopje) etc.

Jimmy’s advantage is that it always stays innovative by providing new original music with inspiring lyrics but maintains original at their range of genre which is Roma traditional music from Kosovo and region.

Jimmy was engaged by “Luxus Production” to produce music for five documentary films, he produced a very unique Jimmy has been working with children as a teacher teaching Children to play instruments such as Guitar, Cajon, Piano and Singing Classes, he has founded a Center for Children and Youth Together with Friends from Kosovo and Switzerland called Music 4 all
